We hereby announce that, following the recent revision of the Patent Attorney Act in Japan, Nagoya International Patent Firm changed its name as of September 1, 2022 as follows:

 

Our legal status and contact information (i.e., email address, postal address, telephone number, and facsimile number) remain unchanged, and this name change does not affect any existing contracts, agreements, and business processes with our clients and business partners. Accordingly, it is not necessary for you to make any arrangement of paperwork and/or signatures for continued partnerships with us, resulting from this name change. Nevertheless, if you have any questions or requests on this, please feel free to contact us.

 

As for our accounting, while the beneficiary’s name at our bank is to be updated to our new name, our bank account numbers and any other bank information except for the beneficiary’s name remain unchanged. Please rest assured that transactions under the current firm name will be properly processed by our bank for the present.

 

Following this name change, we would like you to update your records on our firm name eventually, including your accounting system.
